Who we screen.

Most typically, our engagements fall into one of the following categories:

Annual employee medicals

A repeatable annual check for staff, often used to monitor staff wellbeing, fulfil HR commitments and to take advantage of HMRC's exemption for one annual medical per employee.

One-off workforce screening

A single or multiple clinical days at your office or our Harley Street clinic. Well suited to teams returning to the office, post-merger health audits or pre-quarter executive cohorts.

Executive and critical-staff assessments

A senior-leader or critical staff full body screening focused on detailed diagnostic imaging, advanced pathology and an in-person results review with a Harley Street doctor.

Embassy and discreet assessments

Confidential medicals for ambassadors, diplomats and high-profile principals, with dedicated named-doctor liaison and encrypted report delivery.

Pre and post-deployment checks

FCDO-registered doctors deliver fit-to-work assessments for overseas deployments, provided your operations team shares the required forms.

Bespoke occupational add-ons

Spirometry, audiometry, vision screening, heavy metals (including lead) testing, rapid drug and alcohol screens, immunity and vaccination programmes, and skin prick allergy testing.

Most clients use our Harley Street clinic. For workforces of five or more, we can run the screening day at your office, subject to space, equipment and scope. Imaging-based tests (chest X-ray, MRI, ultrasound) are completed at our partner imaging centres, all within a few minutes walk of our clinic.

At Harley Street

Best for executive and embassy assessments, smaller cohorts and any screening involving imaging. Private consulting rooms, separate executive lounge, and pathology lab onsite.

At your office

Best for whole-team screening days. We arrive with portable spirometry, audiometry, vision equipment, drug and alcohol testing kits, ECG and phlebotomy capacity. Lab samples are couriered to our pathology partners same-day.

Out of scope, by design: We do not provide musculoskeletal or manual-handling screens, COSHH/dust/fume respiratory health surveillance, hand-arm vibration (HAVS) screening, statutory night-worker assessments, driver medicals (DVLA, taxi, HGV) or offshore (OGUK) medicals. If your programme needs these, we will introduce you to a specialist provider.

Are employee health screenings tax deductible?

Under HMRC guidance (EIM21765), one annual medical check-up per employee can be exempt from benefit-in-kind treatment, and the cost is generally allowable for the employer. The exemption is narrow and specific, particularly for directors and group schemes, so confirm treatment with your accountant or tax adviser.

Many of our corporate clients structure annual screening as part of a wider wellbeing programme. The annual medical exemption is narrow and specific, and the rules for screening days, group cover and director-only programmes differ from those for individual hires. We provide invoicing and clinical descriptions that match HMRC's wording, so your accountant has what they need to make the determination.
