What this screening detects
Spirometry assesses lung capacity and function, while chest radiography identifies structural abnormalities. Low-Dose CT (LDCT), the clinical benchmark for early lung cancer detection, provides significantly higher sensitivity in identifying small nodules compared to standard X-rays. The EarlyCDT blood test (Elite) detects autoantibodies generated by the body's immune system, a natural defence against cancer cells, aiding early detection in high-risk patients.
Who is this for?
We recommend lung screening for men and women over 40, particularly current or former smokers, those with occupational exposure, or anyone with a family history of respiratory disease. It is also for people with a persistent cough, breathlessness or other symptoms who want answers without a long wait.
What happens at your appointment
Your appointment at our Harley Street clinic begins with a consultation and physical examination, followed by precision spirometry to assess lung function and your chosen imaging: chest X-ray (Essential) or Low-Dose CT scan (Advanced and Elite). Elite patients also have an EarlyCDT Lung blood draw. You then return for an in-person review of your results.

A foundational respiratory health check combining specialist clinical examination with precision spirometry and chest radiography to assess lung capacity and identify structural abnormalities.
Utilises Low-Dose CT (LDCT) technology—the clinical benchmark for early lung cancer detection—to provide significantly higher sensitivity in identifying small nodules compared to standard X-rays.
Our most comprehensive respiratory assessment, integrating high-definition Low-Dose CT imaging with the EarlyCDT blood test to detect the presence of autoantibodies generated by the body’s immune system, a natural defense against cancer cells. This aids in the early detection of lung cancer in high-risk patients.
Most results are available within 3-5 working days. Genetic marker tests may take up to 10 days for full sequencing analysis. You will be invited back for a face-to-face review of your results with clear next steps.
